The New Zealand Hydrogen Council's inaugural hydrogen conference, the H2 2 Zero Summit, will be held at Te Papa, Wellington on 3 & 4 May 2022.
This hybrid event will accomodate 200 delegates at Te Papa, Wellington, with provision also for live online streaming
The two-day Summit will bring together the entire value chain of those involved in the delivery of hydrogen initiatives across production, transport, storage, distribution and export and will include key international influencers and local industry leaders who are at the forefront of advancing the uptake of hydrogen as an integral part of our transition to a low emissions future.

New Zealand’s goods exports to Japan were NZ$969 million in the final quarter of 2021 - up 30 percent compared to the same period in 2020. On an annual basis (January-December 2021), goods exports were up 1.5 percent on 2020, totalling NZ$3.6 billion – a record high since 2002.
Japan’s GDP rebounded 5.4 percent in the final quarter of 2021, or 1.3% on a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, mainly driven by private consumption that grew +2.7% quarter to quarter.

It is with regret that with Auckland at Level 3 we have decided to postpone the Forum this week. This is very disappointing as we had a huge amount of interest both here and in Japan, but we see no alternative given the uncertainty on how long this current lock down will last.
