“Adapt, improvise and overcome” is a famous motto of the US Marines, and it is a good description of our Prime Minister's Mission to Japan. We had some setbacks, but we adapted, overcame and delivered another highly successful mission to a key country for New Zealand.
Now is the time of Matariki in New Zealand, which is also called Subaru in Japan. This is a time of both reflection and planning. As we look backwards, we honour a country that has played a huge role in our past, and as we look forward, we can see that it will play a big role in our future as well….
